As Above is partnering with Azvex Brewery and Taproom and Tempo Liverpool Kitchen to usher in the summer solstice through the portals of the Ancient Greek world. Learn about their feasts and rituals honouring Apollo, the god of healing, purification, music, and divination.
Cat de Leon, proprietor of As Above So Below Emporium has curated a menu lovingly crafted by Tempo which is inspired by the foods served during the Boedromion, or Summer ritual celebrations. Four courses consisting of three to four small plates will be served, with commentary by Cat on the ritual, magical, and religious significance of the food and drink.
Azvex Brewery has curated samplings of mulled, fermented, and brewed beverages that echo the Ancient Greek libations, and will carefully pair a drink suggestion with each course.
